Long Wang - Ocean Dragon King

So... We returned to Shalowan in October and November 2019. AFTEC and the villagers invited us to make an artwork for the 'Flow' festival, ten days of art, music and performance illuminating our relationships to water. We made Long Wang - Ocean Dragon King out of bamboo, local rattan and plastic water bottles. These we collected from the beach every day to make his scales. Find more pictures in Explore 'Creatures'.
Ocean Dragon King currently has much to contend with in his watery realm...
